    Hello,

I’m trying to build an EAR, but want to filter the contents of the EAR and limit the contents to web modules, web pages, etc. The project is under SVN and consequently, we have many SVN related folders and files in the project directory structure.

Is there a way to filter what MyEclipse picks up and includes in the EAR?

    Thanks,
    Mark.

There is no way to filter out the contents of an EAR file during deployment.

I am not looking to filter the EAR during deployment, but only filter when I build it, and that’s when you choose “Export” and select “J2EE/EAR (MyEclipse)”.

I can’t imagine that anyone doing development and using version control would be OK with packaging up all those .SVN files or directories, then have to remove them manually before actually deploying the application.

If there’s a way to filter out the SVN related files when you package the EAR (not deploy it), please let me know. If there’s some obvious way that I’ve overlooked, I apologize, but do please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Mark.
