Hi,

Since yesterday, MyEclipse makes problems.
It does not start – every time it hangs.

Please help me! (PS: Sometime there is a error message regarding Mattisse4MyEclipse etc.)” alt=””>

Can you go to <workspace>/.metadata/.log file and check if any errors are being logged.

Different user here. I get the following:

!ENTRY com.genuitec.eclipse.core 1 0 2008-05-26 11:02:23.806
!MESSAGE Unable to locate .myeclipse.properties file

How does this explain the deadlock?

Did you use the All in One installer to setup MyEclipse ? Can you go to our download page and download the 6.0.1 All in One installer and use that to setup MyEclipse to a brand new location and test this out again.

I’ll try that. That’s not a great solution for me, since my company has a standard laptop setup that already includes Eclipse, but it might get me by. I’ll let you know.

Yes, that works. The IveDE plug-in now seems to be the source of trouble; Eclipse deadlocks on startup if that plug-in is installed.
