I am running MyEclipse 3.8.3 with Eclipse 3.0.1 build 200409161125. Whenever the project build step takes place it takes a very long time to build (longer than a clean build with ant). The progress dialog shows a bunch of html and JSP files it is trying to compile. I want to be able to edit these files, but do not want them processed during the build. Is there an option available to control which files are processed as part of the build process?

    thanks in advance.

    Mark,

You can turn off HTML and JSP validation for the workbench at Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Validation or on a project by project basis by right-clicking on project in the Package Explorer View and selecting Properties > MyEclipse-Validation. After you turn validation off, you can remove any validation errors that are currently flagged by right-clicking and selecting MyEclipse > Remove Validation Errors
