With me, the bug in (http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-7807.html) isn’t fixed yet. 🙁 Initially the stuff worked out, but after a rebuild of my project (or something else, don’t know the exact cause) everything is like before. JSP auto completion works, but validating still not works.
I use Eclipse 3.1.0 final (I20050627-1435) and MyEclipse 4M2 with MyEclipse JSP Design Support (Version: 3.9.211 Build id: 20050627-4.0-Milestone-2).
Cleaning the the project does not work either.
So it worked, then “something happened”, and now validation isn’t working anymore? Can you look at your OS PATH variable and make sure that a java bin directory is on it? ie. PATH=<path-to-jdk1.4.2>/bin;…
Also, did you use a fresh installation or try to upgrade an existing install? Can you create a new web project, with one of our template JSP’s, induce a Java error in it, and have validation work? Can you open the Problems View’s filters area and make sure that all MyEclipse errors are selected to be placed in the Problems View?Also, we need the full config, like the log entries, etc. So, can you please post all the information we request in the [URL=http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-393.html]Posting Guidelines[/URL] thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.
