I am currently investingating the usage of MyEclipse 2013 SR2 for the ability to use Java 7 and have the latest version but have fallen at the first hurdle.

Whilst in the CVS Repository Explorer and then trying to refresh CVS Branches I am prompted to select the projects to refresh.

I select the Alias module(We have multiple CV projects being checked out at the same time) and then I do a “Search Deeply” on the selcted Alias module.

At this point I am returned to to the CVS Repository Explorer page and nothing has refreshed.

Is this an issue with aliased cvs modules? In version 8 and Version 10 this worked without error.

I can’t find any error logs either?

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

This might be an issue with Eclipse 3.8.2 which is the base for MyEclipse 2013 SR2.
Since I do not have access to your kind of CVS setup, can you please check on Eclipse 3.8.2 to see if the CVS Alias works as expected?

If the issue persists in Eclipse 3.8.2, please raise a bug against Eclipse.

Let us know how it works, so that I can file for further investigation.

Okay I am downloading Eclipse 3.8.2 and will attempt to do the same and get back to you

Downloaded and re-run the same tests.

In Eclipse 3.8.2 the same situation occurs and so it seems to be in Eclipse.
