When creating an EJB Module project, there is a bug when trying to create an xdoclet when i go to project preferences>>MyEclipse-XDoclet>>Add Standard (This is where the bug is – one cannot see the list of standard configurations). I cannot choose the Standard EJB configuration because I cannot see it. This bug is not on my windows xp machine for instance. I suspect this problem is caused by myEclipse IDE.

IDE perspective: MyEclipse- System Setup ——————————-
Operating System and version: Linux Fedora Core 2
Eclipse version: Linux Fedora Core 2
    Eclipse build id: 3.0.1 gtk
    Fresh Eclipse install (y/n): y
If not, was it upgraded to its current version using the update manager?
    Other installed external plugins: none
Number of plugins in the <eclipse>/plugins directory that begin with org.eclipse.pde.*:
    MyEclipse version: j2sdk1.4.2_06
    Eclipse JDK version: j2sdk1.4.2_06
Application Server JDK version: j2sdk1.4.2_06 on jboss-4.0.0
Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file? no

This is actually a problem of SWT and your version of GTK installed. We’ve only seen this on Fedora Core machines and the people who have run into it worked around it by downgrading to GTK+ 2.4.9, there was something with 2.4.11 that was causing the Windows to appear with incorrect dimensions.

Riyad is right about SWT/GTK. There is a problem with the latest GTK library and SWT that hasn’t been resolved. However, in the upcoming 3.8.3 release this window has been made resizeable so you can get to the Standard EJB configurations in any GTK release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
