    Hi,
Building a workstation out of parts that I have been able to find. Solaris 10 with a SPARC processor. Looking for a build that supports Solaris10 and SPARC.
Decided to build the workstation after hearing things about the Windows Vista and the subscription model that it appears for the Office suite and the operating system, figured I would convert now …….

    Bob,

First, best of luck as that sounds like a fun project. While we don’t certify MyEclipse on Solaris we have many users that use the Solaris build of Eclipse and then the MyEclipse manual installation zip download to add MyEclipse to it. It’s pretty simple and the manual install instructions are both included in the zip as well as online here.

I just installed Solaris 10 on my laptop. I’ll give the manual install a try. I was wondering if it would work and thought I would do a search before attempting it. Thanks for the info.

    Dan.
