We are hoping for Betas late this month and a release next month. Although dates are subject to change depending on how smooth the betas go.
The ‘beta’ from the roadmap may be referring to internal dev betas, before we think its stable/good enough to release public betas and then eventually roll out the GA release.
The 2.8 release is going to include *a lot* of ambitious new things in it, please understand that this will likely push our release dates out. So yes, look for betas this month, not last month.
