As a new I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but:

Can MyEclipse and the IBM cont. coexist within Eclipse without problems.

Is there a way to switch on an off the features of both individually?

We assimilated and fixed large parts of the IBM contribution to web tools. However, they cannot coexist as they will conflict. If you want integrated, operational, fixed versions of the IBM contribution, you’re in the right place. Just install Eclipse 3.0 and MyEclipse 3.8.
