christweekieMemberHiu
Like others, I battled through my installation of 7.1.1. Then it won’t start – it can’t load companion libraries. I see that others have had the same issue and it looks like MYeclipse is deleting the eclipse.ini file !!
Can I respectfully ask how the heck that happened and how it got through your rigorous test procedures ?
Incidentally, whilst 7.1.1 was running, I went to pulse and there is no profile there. SO I went to the 7.0 install and found that the profile had been marked as deleted. How did that happen ?
Thanks
Chris

christweekieMemberThis is unbelievable – I followed the instructions in the other thread about restoring the eclipse.ini but I still have the same problem. At the moment, the best advice seems to be to uninstall 7.0 and then install 7.1.1. Did no-one test this at all ?
I find that Genuitec’s arrogance with the pulse issue (i.e. it is being forced on us) and the disdain it shows its customers by not testing anything is breathtaking.
PS I have been at work for 1 and half hours now and I have got NO work done. Isn’t MyEclipse supposed to enhance productivity ?

support-joyMemberchristweekie,
Sorry to hear you are encountering this issue. Can you please follow these steps to uninstall and then try reinstalling:-
1. Run the uninstaller.
2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under <USER.HOME>\AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under <USER.HOME> is erased as well
4. Try to reinstall using the all-in-one MyEclipse 7.1.1Sorry for the inconvinience.

christweekieMemberSorry – I had to manually delete the directories. See my latest post. I have now been at work nearly 4 hours and lost all that time due to MyEclipse rubbish.
