I hear that XML Buddy Pro messes up things in MyEclipse.

The JSP Designer doesn’t work at all. If I want to edit a JSP page, I can only use the standard JSP Editor in MyEclipse.

The reason I purchased XML Buddy Pro was that it was recommended to help do conversions between XML and schemas for Web Services work. Does MyEclipse have similar XML conversion functionality?

I have no problems removing XML Buddy Pro if MyEclipse has these features already.

Otherwise, I hope the MyEclipse development team will take a look at why XML Buddy Pro interferes with MyE and fix it in MyE.

The MyE XML editor also does not work with XML Buddy Pro as Riyad just helped me figure out.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon?

    Thanks much in advance.

    Mork,
We will look into this when we get a chance, but I would encourage you to ping the XML Buddy team as well. It could be something they are doing incorrectly. The reason I say this is that a lot of folks like to compliment their MyEclipse installs with their favor editors and plugins (Ruby, Perl, Python, C/C++, etc.) and we have historically been very good citizens and not had any editor conflicts…except now with XML Buddy, it completely craps out our editors… so I’d love to point the finger of blame there, but in fairness, we will look into this as well just incase.
