I just installed trial version of MyEclipse 8.6.
When I tried to install subclipse 1.6 I got the following error.Bad update sites
com.genuitec.pulse2.client.common.launcher.BadUpdateSiteException
Software being installed: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb-578451-1299590724588 2.0.0.0000000003)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb-578451-1299590724588 2.0.0.0000000003) requires ‘org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.feature.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found.I am behid a proxy server. May be this is the cause. However when I launch the MyEclipse web browser I could acces the internet though.
But on MyEclipse configuration center the sections “Tips and Tricks” and “In the News” have the following messages
“Could not connect to the “www.myeclipseide.com” server.”
Could not connect to the “www.genuitec.com” server.Please help.

Please ensure your proxy allows http://www.genuitec.com , http://www.myeclipseide.com and http://www.poweredbypulse.com
Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections and set your proxy details here and retry adding subclipse.Let me know how this works for you.
