Hello support and everyone I have searched the forum for this and can’t find any answer. I’m still new with mobione designing but I have been hit with this question.
Here is the scenario a head of a small company about 45-50 employees asked me that can I build him a native android app which he will have install it on his team’s android device. One of the app’s functions is to execute the following. Him the boss can notify his entire team through the app via email or some other way by sending out short messages to all users at once? In other words send messages in group email to all employees? The company does not use LAN rather they use the internet.
I was thinking of ‘push notif’ but I believe it doesn’t work in mobione yet. Is it possible somehow to implement such function in a native android app with mobione? If so support or anybody can give me some sample how it’s done? Please help me I need to know a.s.a.p. Thank you.MobiOne does not yet support push notifications.
I rough alternative is to send a group sms/txt. We do this internally using a simple mail group with the sms email gateway provided by most carriers, e.g., for att <phonenum>@txt.att.net

I don’t think this is possible using any of the apis I’m aware of. In my prev response I was thinking of how we have mail groups that we can send a msg to that distributes to all group members. We setup a special group for sms to users via their carrier’s sms email gateway.
Does anyone else know about group sms?
Thank you Wayne let me ask you this, is it like getting all app users phone number and compile it in one group sms field and save it for future action. It’s possible at all with mobione? I just have no clue how could it be done? Anyone else have some idea? Please, please let me know it would drastically change my marketing chance.
