    Hello,

Having some issues with building an app after having to optimize over 700 image files. These 700 images were manually imported into a scrolling panel screen on mobione files. Is there a way to have the images point to the new optimized files? I had to reduce the size to shrink the app size. It looks like these images were loaded into the mobi file and are directly dependent to any modification on that file. Meaning I would only know how to update each image one by one after opening each mobi file. Any help is great since I’m new at mobione and i’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

    hi there

Once the images have been manually inserted into mobione using the image widget i’m pretty certain that there is not a way to change the images without going through each panel and manually doing the changes.

For a project like this with many images use a dynamic link to the images so that you can just change the link and the images whould update. A database would be the best solution. Thats not my area of expertise but hopefully someone else can help you out with that.

There is a example of something similar here for dynamically linking images http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2044

    good luck

I agree with paulD, your best bet would be a database or even an array where you can access the files easier.
I dont have a database sample handy, but there is an array sample in the Mobione Cheatsheet:
