HI. i seem to be having a problem with the video that i am putting into my app.
everything seems to work ok in the Mobione test center see pic.
but once i play the video and it end or i stop it the pic of the spitfire no longer shows just the video button and back button
the rest of the screen is black.????
anyone have any ideas what’s happening? or where i am going wrong.
running the app on my iphone all works fine except for the above.
yes i know the video wont play in the test centre..? when will this be fixed so i can test before submitting.?

Hi Uplink1001,

1) What Mobione version did you use?
2) Can you share device model and OS?
3) Are you building a native app or web app?
4) Can you share the video to investigate? If you want to keep it in privacy send it to support at genuitec dot com, use title mobione data from Uplink1001, if you have the url to the video would be better. If your video is bigger than 5MB consider using a service such wetransfer.com

Is there a defined format that mobione allows so its included in the final build?

Thoguht to give some feedback for you ;

Using HTC Desire S,

Tested@ 14:57hrs (UK)

You can pinch the app, not sure if thats intended (couldn’t get this to work on my app for some reason)

You are given a choice to either DL to SD Card or Stream video,

On strartup, the app just shows two very small buttons however – splash screen?

When playing video, allows only in landscape,

Overall, app works fine, sound and video – perfect!

HI.
I have been trying this on my android experia z, but as I am making this for iphone it does not format as I want on android and half of the buttons don’t work.
it all works fine on the iphone expect for the video. it will play but once finished or if you pause the ass screen as shown above does not show the same again, it only shows the back button and the video button
: no pic or title. this is the only problem I am having with the app, any more help with this would be great, I will try another few ways to do it, I may just be missing something???????

I have a feeling that this problem has to do with iOS 7, as my iPad that I have tried it on is only the first iPad 1 iOS 5 and it works fine with no problems, mmmmmmmmm
What to do?
Is there an update planned for mobione to rectify this? Has anyone else had he same problem?

Have just installed from your website MobiOne ver 2.5.0 m3
Fiddled about a bit and everything seems fine, re run the app build and checked on iphone 4 running iOS7 and everything is working fine now.
sorry for the mess around.
hope to have this finished this week and on the app store.
