Loyal WaterMemberHi Doug,
Sorry you ran into this issue. Can you please give us some additional information about this issue. What version of MyEclipse are you running? Are you trying to update from inside the product? Are you using the dashboard or Help > Update menu?June 11, 2009 at 1:36 pm #299268

support-joyMemberDarn! This looks like a pulse issue. I am on Windows XP and I don’t have any issue. I have successfully installed ME 7.5.
I would like to check if this is related to blocked IPs. It is our goal to ensure that all our customers have continuous and uninterrupted access to our website and servers. Unfortunately, due to several recent, coordinated attacks on our servers originating in southeast Asia, we have had to block access to large numbers of IP addresses in that region to ensure continued access to our customers worldwide. Can you click on http://www.whatismyip.com and paste your IP here?
Also can you go to your MyEclipse installation folder look for pulse2.properties file. You might find it under ~\Genuitec\Common\configuration\pulse2.properties and copy and paste pulse.handshake.id here for me? This will help me look into our server logs for errors.
I would recommend you to cross-post to pulse forums here – http://www.poweredbypulse.com/forums/index.phpJune 12, 2009 at 10:51 am #299329
Loyal WaterMemberitsjimbo,
We had a system hickup when we rolled out the 7.5 udpate late last night around 1am and broke the Blueprints and that’s why you were seeing the errors — MyEclipse/Pulse were connecting to the server and saying “Ok, what updates do you have for me?” and the server was handing back garbage and then MyEclipse/Pulse were saying “What the heck is this junk… it doesn’t even make sense” and that is the error you were seeing. We fixed it at 6am this morning so now all should be correct and the 7.5.0 updates are going out smoothly. Sorry for the hickup.
