    Support,

I updated 2.3 to 2.3.1 this morning. Trying to run app as Android and would not start up Test Center. Android Build failed at Device & Orientation screen. I was able to build iOS app before updating and run in Test Center.

So, there must be come bug in the new release 2.3.1 with running apps in test center, etc.

    Please advise.

    Hi mreade,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
Does not the Test Center show up after you run your app from Design Center? Other? Could you share a screenshot(s)?
Could you provide us a sample files to replicate issue and the steps to reproduce it?

    Octavio,

When I try to run my app in the Design Center to view in the Test Center all I see is a flash of the window which use to appear while building the app to view in the test center then nothing happens, no windows, nothing.

Before upgrading to 2.3.1 this morning, I was successful in creating an iOS app IPA install file, and have it sent to my email via Wi-Fi and finally installed on my iPhone where the app is now working fine.

Nothing has changed in the code from 2.3.0 to after the 2.3.1 update.

Now, I cannot even get into the Test Center to see/modify/test the app and/or _custom.js file.

Right now, all I can do is just see the forms in the Design Center and nothing else.

    Octavio,

After responding to your earlier reply, I gave the following a try…..

    1. In the frmName-www folder, I deleted
    2. .codegen.cache.json
    3. .frmName.json
    4. cache.manifest

I then re-entered the MobiOne 2.3.1 program, opened the same app main form and sent same to the Test Center. This time, the familiar window appeared showing the progress of preparing the app for the Test Center appeared, finished, then displayed the Test Center screen as usual.

I can only guess that somehow the above files, 2, 3, 4, become corrupted. By removing them and letting the program generate new replacements, it has corrected my problem.

So, for now, it looks like everything is back to normal. I am not sure this will work for everyone, but it has at least worked for me.

I have similar problem with Mobione 2.3
When I try to send app(iPhone app) to Test center, modal window shows up, there is progress, but it stops and shows me error, that <my_proect>.html could not be written and I have to check, if it’s not opened by another program or locked.
When I try to repeat this, modal window just flashes and nothing happens. After a while I figure out, that Mobione deletes my html file. So I copy it to my project folder from backup, try to send it to Test center, it asks me if I want to overwrite that file and everything is working fine.
This happens randomly, name of file can change to different(cache), solution works fine in all cases.
SoI think there is a bug with Mobione and it’s not related if you create iPhone or Android app(IMO)
