I have inserted a image in a panel in landscape mode. The image looks fine when I look in Landscape orientation. But when I change the orientation to portrait mode, instead of scaling the image proportionally it is stretched vertically.

I am not sure if my setting in the panel is wrong or the image settings. I have tried most of the settings but with no luck.

An worked out example file would be great.

I have attached the screenshot of the same.

I need to give a demo to my boss so that he approves this S/w

did you try in Properties – when your in Landscape mode to uncheck all in Auto-resize?? check it in Portrait mode than…

Yes, please try disabling the auto-resize properties to maintain the image aspect ratio on orientation change. See this user guide for some background info.
