With eclipse 3.2.2 and OSX 10.4.9, the installation of MyEclipse 5.1.1GA did not include any database drivers — When I tried to create a connection the driver box is empty. (This makes it rather difficult to connect to a database as you might well imagine. ) I checked the help docs and it says that drivers should be bundled with the app. I did an update via eclipse and there was only a minor change in some unrelated part of MyEclipse.

    jon,
Sorry for the confusion. We don’t ship any JDBC drivers with MyEclipse, what we ship are driver templates. You need to provide the actual JDBC JAR files (there are licensing issues that stop us from just bundling them all and shipping them).

We outline where you can get most all JDBC drivers in our DB FAQ here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2-viewforum-f-46.html
