    Hi

I am new to both eclipse and myeclipse, in order to get my web projects done faster It was suggested to me from the java forums at sun that i try eclipse with my eclipse. So I have decided to trial the software but i am having some problems.

I have installed eclipse 3.1.0 on my windows xp operating system to c:\eclipse and I have installed the myeclipse plugin by going through the install anywhere wizard. I am now going through the guides provided but I dont have a myeclipse perspective and I cant find it any where. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated also I have java version jdk1.4.3

    Thanks

    Antek,

Eclipse 3.1.0 is still in development and won’t be released until June. Currently, we do not support the milestone builds that are available as a result. Please download and install Eclipse 3.0.1 and then install MyEclipse with that. Also, please be sure to review the Quickstart guides in our Documentation section to quickly climb the learning curve (http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html). Naturally, the place to start is the Installing / Uninstalling MyEclipse Quickstart.
