Edited by support-octavio: this is a duplicate thread that have been discussed before. Can see it here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2632

I’ve played around with all these database and local storage examples. When compiled and run on an iPhone as an iOS native app, I cannot get any persistant storage. By “persistant”, I mean the database or local storage keys are still there when the app is restarted, or the phone is restarted, etc. Even Albatros’s examples wipe the dB when the app leaves memory and then is opened again.

Am I missing something…? What’s the point of local storage or dB storage in an iOS app if no data can be stored long term?

What’s the answer for long-term data storage?

    Thanks!
