A page in my app contains a panel containing a HTML widget. The panel requires scrolling to display the entire HTML widget. The panel scrollbars will not appear on browsers until the browser window is manually resized. Is there a way to make the the scrollbars appear without resizing the window?

Where are you testing your app? Web Simulator? Native or Web app?Have you taken a look at this tutorial?

The app will eventually become a chrome app. The only problem is that the panel scrollbars will only appear after the browser window is resized, ( even one pixel). Works perfectly after scroll bars are present. I want the scrollbars to appear immediately when the page is displayed. I will look further into using iscroll if necessary.
