    Hi,

I want to add a tomcat 5.5 to the MyEclipse Application Servers list (Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Application Servers), but I can not see any server. I have seen some screenshots where a list of different servers are displayed. I don’t have a little box with a plus in frront of “Application Servers”.

I’m using MyEclipse 5.0 M2, windows XP, tomcat 5.5 (which is not installed as a service), eclipse 3.2.0 and JDK 1.5.

    Can somone help me?

    Thanks a lot
    Steffen

I am using MyEclipse 5.0 M2 for Linux with the same result. I had Tomcat 5.0.28 setup and it was fine. I changed to Tomcat 5.5 and now there is nothing listed in the application server list under Window -> Preferences ->MyEclipse->Application Servers. Not sure how to get it back, but it may be related to Tomcat 5.5? That is the only thing I can remember changing today and I believe it worked fine on initially changing it, just when I quit Eclipse and reopened, it was gone.

    Guys,

Sanity check: When you setup the server, did you remember to Enable it? (Server can be enabled and disabled on the same preferece page you use to set it up)

There is also a button on the MyEclipse toolbar (icon of a server) which says “Run / Stop / Restart MyEcipse Application Servers”. It has a drop down menu, do you see your servers listed there?

    Best,
    Brian.

See previous post, this is under Window -> Preferences ->MyEclipse->Application Servers where you actually configure the servers and enable them, nothing lists here. I created a new Workspace and they all show up again, but I have no idea why it happened in the first place and will be unable to debug further since I just created a new workspace and moved my projects into it (previous workspace state is gone).
