I am getting below error while trying to update “MyEclipse 2013” to “MyEclipse 2013 SR1”

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please answer some more questions for us ?

1. Please share the installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.

2. Are you behind a firewall? If yes then make sure the settings are in place here : Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.

3. Please make sure you are running MyEclipse as Administrator.

4. Can you please switch to a new workspace, start the IDE with -clean args and attempt to update to SR1 release and see if the issue persists.

5. Can you please check the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log for any errors of interest ? If there are any, please paste them here for us to investigate further.

1. Installation Details: Screenshot attached.
2. Yes. Firewall is there. But, logging into firewall is integrated with Windows Logon. Hence, no settings needs to be done in MyEclipse.
3. Windows Logon user has Administrator rights.
4. Started with -clean args in new workspace, but, same error.
5. log file attached herewith.

Thank you for the details.

1. Can you please try downloading the MyEclipse 2013 SR1 installer and install it ? Please download it from here : https://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME

2. It might also be the case of corrupted downloads.If the update from the installer fails, I suggest you try uninstalling and then reinstalling using the MyEclipse 2013 SR1 installer.

3. If you are still seeing the issue, please share the Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details. (The one you sent us is from Help > About)
