The attached images shows two dialogues which I occasionally get. I can close only one the eclipse one, which immediately pops up again. Therefore I have to kill my eclipse to be able to work again.
I don’t have an idea how to solve it.

This is my eclipse, I’m using openSUSE 15.1 with Gnome 3.26.2 under Wayland
eclipse.buildId=4.11.0.I20190307-0500
eclipse.commands=-os
linux

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please share with us the complete workspace log file which is located at workspace dir/.metadata/.log to help us get the full list of errors?
Also let us know if you are seeing the dialog during particular actions like saving/editing the files, when using keyboard shortcuts, switching views or perspectives etc.

wit the sugested gtk 2 setting I get slightly different endless looped messages as attached.

Please update via Help > Check for Updates and let us know if you still see the problem.
