    Hello to everyone,

When I start MyEclipse (Version 4.1.1) I have the problem, that the tomcat webengine always will be started automatically. I tried to disable it, by searching it in the options, but I wasn’t able to find.

So I am not able to start the tomcat in my eclipse environment, because the server was already started. So I need first to stop tomcat by executing the shutdown command in tomcats home dir, and only after that I am able to restart it.

Is there another way to disable the automatically launch of tomcat, when eclipse is started?

    thanks for helping me

    best regards

    Markus

    Markus,
MyEclipse is most likely not doing this, you might have Sysdeo Tomcat plugin installed, and I’m not aware of it’s functionality, but an option might to be to start Tomcat on Eclipse startup.

MyEclipse’s settings are under Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > Application Servers > Tomcat, if you don’t have Tomcat 4 or 5 configures and things are still starting up, it’s likely another plugin.

I think you must into the windows serverce control and stop the tomcate running !now configuration tomcat change from auto to manually!
