    Hi,

I would like upgrade from eclipse 3.01 with ME 3.8.3. to eclipse 3.1 with ME 4.0. Can I use temporary the same subscription for two versions of ME workbench on the same PC?
What is the right procedure for upgrade?

    Thank you in advance,
    Yuri

    Yuri,

Yes, you can use the same subscription for both your instances; just don’t run them at the same time.

The best procedure to try out 4.0 is to install Eclipse 3.1 (final version) and then install MyEclipse 4.0 so that it points to it. Basically, leave you’re existing installations in place and test the new versions in parallel. For a full test, create a copy of your current workspace and configure the new installation to point to it.

Thank you, Scott. It is exactly what I wanted to know.
