    Screen 1 has a button to open/display Screen 2.

Screen 2 opens “over” Screen 1.

How do we get Screen 2 to open a “new” viewing port for itself, leaving Screen 1 available.

We are looking for a solution similar to target=”_blank” in the html world.

Do-able? Forget it? Got any code for it?

Thanks in advance to any assistance or code.

As I understand this, your trying to open another’ seperate page in another window right?

Nope, you can’t do that its an app, not a browser (or at least I don’t think you can) 😉

    Hi herb200mph,

I don’t believe this is supported as mobione apps are based on a single page/screen web architecture. I will check with the dev team team to see if there is a way to accomplish this, i.e., is there a hack.

WOW. Somewhat surprises me that a “new screen” isn’t do-able.

We can live without it, but it requires adding some additional navigation buttons to do what is needed.

Among the “list for the developers,” how about adding:

HIGH PRIORITY: ability to zoom and pinch images!!!

    Hi Herb,

I have confirmed with dev team that for another tab you need to create another mobi file and generate files for it separately.

    Thanks for checking.

    Now if only … pinch/zoom

It would solve my problems completely.
