    Srikumar,

Have you had a chance to read through our EJB development quickstart? Take a look at it and it will help you get going in the right direction.

i have one more problem .. it says Failed to load or instantiate TagExtraInfo class: org.apache.struts.taglib.html.MessagesTei. NOTE: No JSP line number was avaliable so line 1 was used for the marker. but i have referenced the J2EE1.4 library as proposed in one of the posts.. still it does not solve the problem

secondly my ejb-jar.xml is not created by ME .. whats the reason.. sorry for the incovinience .. but i am realtively new

Right click on your project, go to MyEclipse, and click “Remove validation markers”, then rebuild it. Is the error gone?

Also, read the EJB doc to answer your question about the ejb-jar.xml, you need to generate it.

MyEclipse already integrates this functionality from the JBoss plugin, it’s most likely that you will create conflicts with MyEclipse if you have both installed.
