    Hello,

I got an out of memory error after using MyEclipse for a number of hours.

It recommended that I exit the workbench.

I replied Yes, that I would exit the workbench, but got an error “Save All failed:null”.

When attempting to restart Eclipse, I get an error “Workspace in use, choose a different one”

(I have rebooted the pc, but still get the error)

Is there anything I can do to recover the situation?

(I could copy the application directory aside, then re-install Eclipse /MyEclipse, but would prefer not to if there is another approach.

I am running Eclipse 3.0.0 Build id: 200403261517 and myEclipse 3.7.2

(note : the download of eclipse was the eclipse-SDK-3.0M8-win32.zip)

    thanks,
    John

John this is currently an Eclipse bug we have encountered a few times, especially when using Ant/XDoclet. I believe there is a lock file created in your <workspace>\.metadata directory, if you delete that you should be able to start back up.
