    Hi Roman,

You may consider using the Cordova Filetransfer api to download a pdf to your device. I’m not aware of how you might make it available through ibooks.

The best place to start is to review the learning center guides and tutorials here: http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/learningcenter.php

MobiOne can assist you in laying out your app UI. Most widgets provided by the visual designer include actions that you can configure and attach to the widget. For example using the visual designer you can easily create a button that will download and open a PDF file from a remote site (a url). If you need to do something not directly supported by a widget action then you can use javascript to create custom actions. For example the functionality you describe to download a pdf and then do something with the file can be accomplished using javascript and the cordova javascript api.

In this case, you need to either find someone to program your app or scale back your requirements to fit with the capabilities provide by the visual designer widget’s actions.
