All the perspective names which MyEclipse uses start with “MyEclipse <feature>”. I can understand that you want to showcase your features 🙂
However, Eclipse limits the length of the perspective name to about 10 characters, so if I have more than one MyEclipse perspective active, then all I see is:
MyEclipse … MyEclipse … MyEclipse … Debug
with of course the corresponding icon.
Could I have the option of moving the MyEclipse name to the end of the perspective name, something like “Database, MyEclipse” or “Image Editor, MyEclipse”?

Actually we didn’t used to, but then we got so many invalid reports from folks using Sysdeo, WTP, Exadel, NitroX, etc. because the “JSP Editor” didn’t work. So we changed all the names to avoid all the confusion because MyEclipse us such a big product, it’s not just 1 new editor or 1 new toolbar item.

Realistically, I would probably say no, unless a lot of people complained about the same issue. Most of us turn off labels in the perspective bar so we don’t see this, but I’m farmiliar with what you are seeing and realize it’s probably eating up a lot of useful real estate, sorry about that.
