I have developed an app where I have the need to have soft instrumental music playing in the background while you go through reading different text screens. These screens are selected from a menu that lead to other list and text files for reading. I have the songs in the mp3 format as required and they work very well when selected through the menu system.
The songs plays fine when selected from the main menu but as soon as you page away from the main screen the music stops.
I program woks fine in the development center except for this one issue with the music stopping as soon as you move of the main scree where you select the song to play.
I also tested it on the iPad and I get the same result.

Is there a way to keep the music playing in the background while you page through a bunch of other text screens and list???
If someone could help with this question it would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

    Hi snowmaned,

Are you using the Mobione audio widgets? Or are you following one of the examples in the HOW-To secction?
Note that this is the default behavior. We plan to introduce an additional audio player property to control if the player should automatically stop on screen transition. Until then the approach is to use a snippet of javascript to control the audio player on a screen transition.

Hi Octavio, I’m using the Mobione audio widgets in the app.
If I understand you correctly this feature is not present but will be available in a future update.
You mentioned a snippet of Javascript to accomplish this task for now. Is there an example of the code I could use?

Thanks for your speedy response to my question.
