    Using ME 4.1.1 GA, Eclipse 3.1.0, win 2000 (sp4), IE 5.5 (sp2)

    My app is just a simple web component using Struts 1.1

    I have a HTML page with the HTML code written as XML i.e it starts –

    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”iso-8859-1″?>
    ……………..

    when I open this page in IE 5.5 using a URL like this –

    http://localhost:7001/HWInt/ea.htm //(or as ea.jsp)

    the XML lines are displayed in the browser NOT the HTML output!

    but if I open the file directly i.e from IE’s File | Open –

    A:\ea.htm

    the page is displayed as correctly in HTML!

    Any ideas? probably something daft I’ve done not done!

    thanks

    harry

    What are you using to serve the page up? Apache HTTPD? Tomcat? Does your page end in .htm or .jsp extension?
