i gave the following commnads
C:\eclipse\eclipse.exe -vm “C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_09\bin ”
now when i try to open i am getting
JVM terminated exit code = -1Thanks a lot for the info…only concerin is after installing myeclipse the IDE hangs for every15min and the trial period alert is really irritaing yaar
Do you have this line in your eclipse.ini file ?
-vmargs -Xms128M-Xms512M-XX:PermSize=64M -XX:MaxPermSize=128Mi gave but i dont see any changes do i need to restart m/c itself i just reopned the editor..and whenever it hangs i close it up i get a message saying JVM terminated Exit code = 1073807364
Can you switch to a new workspace and check if the IDE stops crashing.
In case the problem still persists, you show go to the MyEclipse download page and download the MyEclipse pulse launcher and use that to launch MyEclipse.
I tried switching to difft workspace but dint help so i downloaded pulse launcher but its also downloading Eclipse europa which i am not using i am using eclipse 3.3.0 its not even asking for the eclipse installables which i have..what shall i do now
Europa is the code name for Eclipse 3.3. Let the pulse installer setup Eclipse and MyEclipse for you. Incase the problem persists with pulse, let me know about it.
Either there mi8 be problem while installing or i have to do some set up i have no clue when i open eclipse with pulse launcher i see the plugins for tomcat which i had configured are not there and also the myeclipse plugin i dont see it…
