    I want to be able to debug my jsp’s so i installed tomcat 5.0 and now i want to install the newest version of eclipse and MyEclipse.

    But when installing ecplise i get een jvm exit code 1 here are all the logs…

    pc = win 2000 sp4
    java = j2sdk1.4.0_01

    .config/.install-log

    !CONFIGURATION 18-nov-2003 10:08:29
    !ACTIVITY nov 18, 2003 10:08:30.79 file:D:/eclipse/ site-install success
    !ACTIVITY nov 18, 2003 10:08:30.89 file:D:/eclipse/.config/platform.cfg.metadata/v2LocalSite.xml reconciliation success

    there is no .log file in the workspace\.metadata\

    so i can’t show that one… whatever build(binairy even) i try different from the one installed now i get that error…

    please advise…

    I believe this is because Eclipse isn’t using the JVM you think it is. I think this thread will help you run down the problem.
