I have installed eclipse 3.0.1 and my eclipse 3.8.4 for Windows XP. When I go to File/New/Other/J2EE I do not see an EJB directory so I can create session and entity bean. What do I need to do to correct this problem?? The only directories listed under J2EE are: EJB Project, Enterprise Application Project, Web Project, Hibernate 2.1, Struts 1.0, Struts 1.1, Struts 1.2, Web.

It sounds like you are navigating the New > Project menu, not the New File menu. Try and go to: File > New > Other > J2EE > EJB

I have double checked to make sure I was going to File/New/Other/J2EE. There is no EJB directory so I can create session and entity beans. What can I do to fix this problem??

Please check your log file for exceptions, it is possible that MyEclipse is not loading properly <workspace dir>\.metadata\.log, scroll down to the bottom of the file.

Also did you install ontop of Eclipse SDK? You cannot use the JDT/RCP/platform installs of Eclipse.
