Hello I am having problems starting Eclipse. When I click on the eclipse icon, I get the message “Version 1.03.1_02 of the JVM is not suitable for this product. Version: 1.4.1 or greater is required.”

When I open the Executable Jar file. The program starts properly.

I currently have the latest JVM.

When during research on this subject, I found that it can be caused when Oracle is installed the computer(which it is). But I am not sure what to do after that.

    Thank you in advance

You can *force* Eclipse to launch with a particular VM by editing your shortcut and adding a line -vm pointing at the VM you want it to launch with, for exmaple:

    eclipse.exe -vm <PATH TO JDK INSTALL>\bin\javaw.exe <other arguments>
