Hi,
I am trying to start wls 8.1 from myeclipse to debug an application and got this problem
Received exception while creating connection for pool “cgPool”: SQL-server rejected establishment of SQL-connection. Pointbase Server may not be running on localhost at port 9093.
I tried starting wls from the command prompt by executing startWebLogic and it works fine. I want to start wls from myeclipse IDE for debugging purpose.
can anyone help me solving this problem?? Thanks in advance!!
The problem is likely that the startWeblogic command simply automatically starts your database instance for you, before launching Weblogic. Since database configurations vary widely, MyEclipse makes no attempt to do this. However, if you start your database first, you shouldn’t have any problem launching from within MyEclipse from that point forward.
