support-michaelKeymasterA few questions to help us see if we can isolate the problem:
1) What version of MobiOne are you using 1.1.4 or 1.2EA1?2) I am trying to replicate this behavior. I’m seeing some oddities by not as dramatic as your example. Are you copy/pasting formatted content into a Text component?
3) I talked to the dev team on this topic. Can you send me the design file that contains this problematic text for deeper research. Our dev team is currently updating much of the code generation logic and this is a great week to make final adjustments before the 1.2 release. You can send the design file to support at genuitec dot com with the title “MobiOne Text Format Problem File” and I’ll get it to the lead developer for investigation.

I have been researching this and trying various scenarios to replicate the line wrapping issue you report. We found 1 problem recently that has been fixed in the code stream and will be available in the next release. It would be very helpful if you could respond to the questions in my previous post.

manyquestionsMemberHi wayne,
thanks for your feedback.
The problems comes since the last update i think. The time before the adresses were correct. I thinks since the update took place automatically all my adresses have no correct line break.

I work with 1.1.4.2) I am trying to replicate this behavior. I’m seeing some oddities by not as dramatic as your example. Are you copy/pasting formatted content into a Text component?
I put the test via the “text”-feature. The problem happened when i copy some text, too.3) I talked to the dev team on this topic. support-michaelKeymasterWe are researching this in more detail. We can replicate the problem you describe. But it appears there are scenarios where text auto-formatting is consistent between mobione tools and the iphone. This problem still exists in the latest 1.2 release. The core issue is that font metrics are different between the Windows fonts used and the fonts of iOS.
The short term solution is to manually expanding the width of the text component that is auto-wrapping text when renedered on an iphone. We will improve this issue asap.
