When i install 7.5 upgrade on 7.1.1 active installation, myeclipse don’t start.
    I tried two method :
fresh installation : begin with 7.1.1 installation, first run, select install from updates modules and never restart
fresh installation : no automatic updates, manually selection of top list, and never start again.

    Two differents messages :
first try : An error has occurred. log :
    org.eclipse.equinox.internal.provisional.p2.core.ProvisionException: Unable to read repository at file:/C:/Program Files/Genuitec/MyEclipse 7.1/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/153/data/listener_1925729951/.
    ..
Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files\Genuitec\MyEclipse 7.1\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\bundles\153\data\listener_1925729951\artifacts.xml (Le fichier spécifié est introuvable)
    at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)

    And a lot of other.

second try : “the Myeclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion sharde library.”

    Help, i need to work

    bhostalery,

Sorry to hear you are running into issues. Your above post is not clear regarding what caused this error. Were you trying to upgrade from ME 7.1.1 to ME7.5?
How did you try to install ME7.5? Using a fresh install of all-in-one installer? or archived update site or pulse explorer?
When you tried to upgrade(Please understand that ME7.1.1 is based on Eclipse 3.4.1 and ME 7.5 is based on Eclipse 3.4.2, you will need a fresh install, there will not be any upgrades), have you done a clean install? Meaning you removed your ME 7.1.1 profile and tried a fresh install of ME 7.5? Removed all traces of ME 7.1.1? If no, have you chosen the same location for your install?
Can you look into your MyEclipse installation folder and look for pulse2.properties file? Look for ~\Genuitec\Common\configuration\pulse2.properties. Open pulse2.properties file and copy and paste pulse.handshake.id here for me? This will help me look into our server logs.

It’s always bundles/233 and not bundles3 (problem with copy and drop with \\)

    Hi,
We had a system hickup when we rolled out the 7.5 udpate late last night around 1am and broke the Blueprints and that’s why you were seeing the errors — MyEclipse/Pulse were connecting to the server and saying “Ok, what updates do you have for me?” and the server was handing back garbage and then MyEclipse/Pulse were saying “What the heck is this junk… it doesn’t even make sense” and that is the error you were seeing.

We fixed it at 6am this morning so now all should be correct and the 7.5.0 updates are going out smoothly. Sorry for the hickup.
