hello i’ve got a probleme with a jsf mysql web app

it seems that mysql port is blocked and i don’t know how to restore it .
and i’ve even a probleme with my eclipse 3.8 / tomcat 5.0 : sometimes the application works and sometimes not . and when i try to shutdown tomcat from myeclipse it gives me an error : << Transport error, error code = -1 >>

This could be your hardware or software firewall blocking connections to MySQL or you could infact have configured MySQL to run in local mode and not expose a port at all.
