I’m sure that someone has answered this question but I have not been able to find it here. I just did a clean install on OS X of the newest release of MyEclipse. I downloaded the complete stack from the MyEclipse website. The install completes fine but when it trys to launch MyEclipse I get the error “he Myeclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library”. Has anyone run into this issue and if so what is the solution.

No. I had previously seen that post. It applies to standard eclipse. The myeclipse.ini file that is used in the MyEclipse is a little different and uses a different method for launching eclipse. Thanks though…

Could you give us the directory paths you choose (both of them) when you installed MyEclipse 7.0?

Also could you post the contents of your myeclipse.ini file here?
