I followed the prompts on the installer and now when I start Eclipse I get:

I believe I figured it out. The problem was the jdk 1.4 was removed from my PATH. After I put it in my path and removed the jdk oracle installs it ran. However the only thing I installed was the 3.8.3 update so I’m not sure if there is a issue with it as something appears to have messed with my PATH env var.

The MyEclipse installer does not modify the system path so it must have been something with those other jdks on the path. Glad you got it fixed regardless.
