I’m using MyEclipse on two machines. On the Windows XP machine it works fine. However on the Windows XP 64 machine I can’t view some of the project properties. The dropdowns on the Info section show up as blank white squares. And the tabs on the MyEclipse-XDoclet section show up as plain gray squares until you resize the window and switch between the tabs a couple of times. Also the tabs on the MyEclipse-Web page don’t show up no matter what you do. Is there a way to fix this? I’m using Eclipse 3.1.0, MyEclipse 4.0.3 and Java 1.5.0_06-b05.

    jdoe,
I am running Windows XP Pro 64-bit now with Eclipse 3.1.1 and MyEclipse 4.0.3 and do not see any of these behiavors.

So first, try and upgrade to Eclipse 3.1.1, secondly, try a new workspace (File > Switch Workspace) and see if the problems persist in the new workspace.

I downloaded eclipse 3.1.1 and installed it. I think this problem is an Eclipse problem and not a MyEclipse problem since the dropdowns on the Info page still don’t show up in the Eclipse 3.1.1 install. I will post the problem on Eclipse’s newsgroups. Out of curiosity though, what version of Java do you have installed? Do you have the i586 version or the AMD 64 version of Java 1.5 installed?

I’m using the run of the mill base install of 1.5.0_05, I didn’t get any of the plat-specific builds. (For support reasons I try and keep my installs on par with the majority of our users).

Does anyone have a clue to this problem? I read some of the other posts on this forum, and it looks like I’m not the only one who’s experiencing this. Someone suggested that this might be a video card problem. Right now I am running a nVidia GeForce 6800GT. I’ve posted this problem on the Eclipse forums without any luck. Any suggestions?

I can email screenshots if you think that would help.
