I’ve tried adding features w/ Pulse, but I keep getting an error dialog saying:

An unexpected error occurred preparing to install and/or launch the selected profile.

Reason:
Profile com.poweredbypulse.profile-21755-rmb-27948 is already installed; unable to proceed.

If it helps there are some logging messages:

INFO: Found non-greedy requirement for ‘bundle’ from toolingorg.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86; skipping due to potential of pulling in too many entries

I am using Ubuntu, MyEclipse version 6.5. I have tried a few different installs on different computers with the same result. Thank you!

Can you right-click on your profile and select “Reinstall and Run” and see if that fixes it? This was a bug we had a while back (I think in the 2.3.0 release) but fixed it… haven’t seen it reported in a long time.

You aren’t on 64-bit Linux are you? That is currently a known issue (cannot provision MyEclipse on 64-bit Linux).

Hey,

I was able to install the feature on a windows box, then install and run on the linux box.

This was the first thing I tried actually, so I’m not sure if the reinstall and run would have worked or not 🙁 As I need more plugins I might fiddle w/ things and post my results here..

Myeclipse is pretty awesome guys, keep it up.
