This is probably a very simple question, but I have not been able to find an answer. I am trying to profile a Web app running in Tomcat/JBoss, specifically Tomcat 4.1.24 and JBos 3.2.1. I can start it from MyEclipse, but I have not been able to figure out how to get a profiler to look at it. I have tried both JMechanic and EclipseProfiler, but con’t figure out what to do.

I guess that I could try profiling it out of Eclipse with other tools, but I really don’t want to do that.

I would appreciate any help that I could get.

    Thanx in advance

I don’t know the configuration details of these profilers but MyEclipse does not do anything out of the ordinary when launching your appserver. We would need more details regarding the profiler’s integration requirements to assist and presently we have our hands full with base MyEclipse feature support. I do know that the development team is planning to research profiling tools for a future release theme but no real effort has been applied to yet. If you can provide more details we may be able to help.
