I’ve recently updated to 5.5.1. I’m trying to create a new JSF project and when I add the capabilites to the project non of the libs are copied into the lib directory.. The web.xml is edited with the faces servelt.. I also cannot change my default jsf capabilites to myfaces.. The apply button with enable.. Is this a bug or am I missing something??

    thx

Can you see the JSF libraries under the Project Root in your package explorer after adding the JSF capabilities? When you Add JSF capabilities, you can select the MyFace implementation in the JSF Implementation dropdown box and hit finish. Im not sure how you tried changing the default JSF capabilities. Can you list the steps for me please.

The JSF libs are no int eh Project Root but they are in the java build path under the libraries tab.. As for setting the type of capabilities I went to Window->preferences->Myeclipse->project Capabilites-> JavaServer Faces.. In there I shuld be able to select the type of faces implementations I want to use.. In the case of myeclipse 5.5.1 it shows Sun REference 1.1.01 or Myfaces 5.5.1 .. there’s a “restore defaults” and “apply” table. The apply tab is never enabled

    Hi Dan,
Seems like you are correct. The Apply Button never gets enabled. Ill file this issue for my dev team to take a look at. In the mean time, you can select MyFace implementation when you add Add project capabilities using the drop down. If you set MyFaces in preference, it will only bring up MyFaces as the default implementation when you try to add JSF Capabilities.

Here is what you can do:-
