If I have a dependency between a Web project and library project in eclipse then compilation does work. But deployment to tomcat does ignore this dependency (classes of the library are not deployed).
How can I tell MyEclipse to consider this dependency during deployment without manually creating a jar and place it in the lib directory of the Web Application.
This is currently not supported but has been asked quite a bit so its very high on the ME team’s priority list. There has been quite a few request for how project dependencies during deployment are handled. Please see this enhancement request and add your comments to make sure the ME team gets in the functionality you need.
