    Hello All,

Error Creating Deployment – The selected server is enabled but not configured properly. Deployment to it will not be permitted until the problem is corrected. Please navigate to the server preferences page and verify the the field with the Tomcat JDK name.

I’m getting this error while deploying to Tomcat 4. I noticed the same problem listed for tomcat 5. I followed the link for the tutorial to resolve this issue. But I’m still having the same problem. I’m running Eclipse 3.0. I thank you for your help in advance.

Note my reply to you in this thread: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-4457.html

You need to select a JDK to run the application server, it sounds like you are selecting a JRE. JDKs are typically installed to places like C:\j2sdk1.4.2_06 or c:\jdk1.5.0, if you are using the dropdown to select the JRE that Eclipse finds by default (usually something like C:\Program Files\Java\….) then that is still wrong.
